David Bolton is a meeting facilitator and workshop leader with a background in computer programming, virtual home design, and leadership development. David has assisted people access their leadership development skills through mountain hiking and mountain climbing adventures in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. His education for a Bachelor of Science specializing in Computer Information Systems at DeVry provided a unique hands on education style coupled with its instructors real world experiences prepared David to meet industry needs using a number of programming languages. In his initial work with clients, David discovered that the one area that DeVry had not prepared him for was the people part of bringing new software into companies. He found that companies brought in new software without sufficient consultation with the employees who would use the software. He witnessed unnecessary conflicts and resistance to new software and realized that there must be a better way of involving the people who would use the new software into the design and implementation phases. He chose to train in the Genuine Contact™ program to develop his skills in meeting facilitation and conflict resolution. He chose to become an authorized trainer in the Genuine Contact™ program when he experienced its value to organizations and graduated in 2008.
David leads his own company, Whole Person Software, as a Genuine Contact Organization, a company that brings a holistic approach to software design and implementation. Whole Person Software feels it is vital to look at the needs of all of the people within an organization to better serve the organization as a whole.His company uses Whole Person Process Facilitation meetings to get to the heart of what the software and web design needs of a company are. He adds value to the Dalar team as a meeting facilitator, workshop leader, and computer information systems specialist. David is a Co-Owner of the Genuine Contact program.
