Laura Bolton is a business consultant with a background in communications, globalization and the environment. Her interdisciplinary education in Communications, Contemporary Studies and Globalization & the Human Condition has informed her work with private and not-for-profit organizations facing change. Her past experience in leadership positions in start-up and publicly traded companies has provided her with a breadth of knowledge including finance, marketing and public relations activities, human resources and operations systems implementation, as well as facilitating strategic planning initiatives.She is also an artist, and among other lines of art, created a line of symbolic art for the Genuine Contact Way Project. Laura graduated as an authorized Trainer in the Genuine Contact™ program in 2006.
In her holistic approach to business consulting she considers the whole as well as the sum of its parts. She utilizes the tools of the Genuine Contact™ Program, including Open Space Technology, Whole Person Process Facilitation, and Cross Cultural Conflict Resolution. She also uses the Medicine Wheel Tool© for a variety of purposes with her clients, such as decision making, strategic planning, and working towards organizational health and balance. Laura supports executives and leaders throughout the organization in one to one coaching the Genuine Contact way and within this framework has her unique approach of including creative processes based on her love of the creative process through art. Her clients find this exceptionally helpful in their creative problem solving challenges.
She adds value to the Dalar team by serving leaders and organizations as a meeting facilitator, trainer, and organizational consultant. She supports organizations in areas of team/community building, leadership development, conflict resolution, and creative problem solving. Leaders and their organizations benefit from her interdisciplinary expertise combined with utilizing the tools, techniques and concepts of the Genuine Contact™ program. She is a Co-Owner of the Genuine Contact program.
