Issues and Opportunities for Leading from the Heart

Purpose: The creation of exceptional leading edge opportunities for participants to explore, experience and subsequently expand their own skills, knowledge, understanding,capacity, and confidence in achieving organizational success by leading organizations using a holistic, life affirming approach.

Leadership: Sponsors are Birgitt and Ward Williams, of Dalar International Consultancy, Inc, co-founders of the Genuine Contact program and approach. Leadership for the conference itself will be shared by newly certified Genuine Contact professionals and Lillian Maresch and John Hornecker of Across Dimensions.

Vision for Participants: Participants will explore and experience what is most meaningful to them at this time in their development as leaders, managers, consultants and facilitators regarding leading from the heart. This exploration and experience will include but not be limited to:

• conversations with wonderful people who are passionate about a holistic approach to leadership development and to organizational/business success
• the competencies, capabilities, and capacity needed by successful leaders and organizations today, especially organizations made up of knowledge workers, technology workers, and service workers
• how to show up and be present as a whole person, including the enhancement of intuition, the four levels of consciousness, and who we are as muti-dimensional beings
• what it takes for leaders to be successful in working with the full potential of their workforce as individuals and the organization as a whole
• an experience of the power of storytelling in an organization
• an experience of working with from and with the intuition of individuals and of the collective and thus development of an understanding of intuition as accessing wisdom that is multi-dimensional
• an experience of a Whole Person Process Facilitated meeting
• an experience of an Open Space Technology meeting
• an experience of what it takes to develop a Conscious Open Space Organization
• the value of mentoring circles for ongoing learning and development

Vision for the Genuine Contact program and approach: to further the work of the Genuine Contact program and approach in the world.

Community: The community of people who will participate in this mentoring circle are people who are interested in a holistic, life affirming, approach to business success and who believe that such an approach brings tangible results. Leaders, managers, consultants, facilitators, and others who are interested in leadership and in organizations will be the participants. They will come from different countries in the world, creating great value in the international exchange. Many, but not all, will have taken a workshop or more within the Genuine Contact program. Some will have had exposure to the program simply from having read the website www.genuinecontact.net.

Management: Within a simple framework, participation at the conference is self managed. The simple framework includes:

Sept 29^th - Meeting conducted using Whole Person Process Facilitation

• 6:30pm Welcome, Transfer In, and Hopes and Fears about the gathering
• 7:30pm Sharing stories of lessons learned in any form of leading at the edge
• 9:00pm Closing circle

Sept 30^th - Meeting in the morning includes a Golden Dome meeting. Meeting in the afternoon conducted using Open Space Technology

• 9:00am Transfer In
• 9:30-12:00 Session led by Lily Maresch and John Hornecker regarding intuition, the enhancement of intuition, and a Golden Dome
• 12:00 lunch break
• 1:00pm Opening of the OST meeting with theme Issues and Opportunities for Leading at the Edge
• 1:45pm First round of sessions
• 3:00pm Second round of sessions
• 4:30pm Evening News
