Supporting You in Developing Your Leadership for Leading So People Will Lead

Next Level Leadership: orientation and readiness is a developing leadership learning stream  to support you in transforming your leadership for leading and participating in a culture of leadership.. This learning stream gets you ready for your own leadership for leading so people will lead. It’s a deep exploration into what next level leadership is and what it expects from you as a leader, covered in five modules. Participation in a module is a combination of independent self-study and online real-time facilitated mentoring circles with other program participants.  Depending on your learning preferences, allot about eight hours per module.

You will have the opportunity to better understand your beliefs about leadership and about leadership in today’s reality of constant change. You will learn tools and skills for leadership for organizational transformation. You will learn how to work with the power of stories and with the spirit of an organization as powerful forces for the well being of the organization.

You will increase your capacity to meet the expanded leadership accountability needed in today’s performance environment of constant change. You will develop an understanding of the value of developing a leadership culture that values the leadership in everyone in the organization…and the benefits of nourishing a culture of leadership.

Organizational Transformation
Basics for Success

To develop your leadership it is helpful to step back and take a look at your organization from the viewpoint of what is required to bring about organizational transformation. You will need this knowledge for the transformational leadership it takes to shift the organization to working in a new leadership paradigm. In this module, you have the opportunity to consider what works, what doesn’t work, and how to position your change effort to be one that is successful.

Working with Stories as a Benefit
to Organizations & Leadership

To develop your leadership it is helpful to increase your skillfulness in working with the stories in an organization or community for the benefit of the organization and as a leadership advantage. Stories, told within the context of the organization, provide important information about what is perceived as working, and what is perceived as not working. After uncovering the stories of the past and present, choices can be made about the story for the future.

Leadership Competencies for
Thriving in a Culture of Constant Change

To develop your leadership it is helpful to understand and enhance leadership competencies for thriving in a culture of constant change. These leadership competencies apply to lead your own life as well as leading a team or organization in an environment of constant change. Learn, explore and strengthen your knowledge and capacity of the leadership competencies you need to thrive in a changing and shifting world.

Personal Boundaries…at Work

To develop your leadership it is helpful to understand and work with personal boundaries. Being clear about your personal boundaries before they are crossed is an important life skill. Clear and upheld boundaries help to build relationships that are healthy, mutually respectful, supportive and caring. When you find yourself in uncertain or stressful situations, your boundaries can help to guide you in making the best decisions that will help keep you on your path.

Beliefs for Creating a
Culture of Leadership

To develop your leadership it is helpful to know about the impact of your underlying beliefs about organizations. It is also important to be able to guide the people in the organization to explore their underlying beliefs about leadership. The current underlying beliefs inform the current leadership paradigm of the organization. Shifting to a culture of leadership requires awareness of the beliefs and choices about beliefs to hold going forward.
