If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, special learning needs or disabilities, please make note at the time of registration and provide guidance to us regarding the best ways to meet your special needs. Everyone with special needs is unique and asking for your guidance is the best way to work in partnership with you to provide the best learning experience. We endeavor to choose workshop locations that are accessible whenever possible. We endeavor to meet the needs of those with dietary restrictions in our food preparation when advance notice at the time of registration is given.
Not all venues are handicapped accessible. If you have a mobility handicap that precludes your ability to climb stairs, please verify with us that the venue is handicapped accessible.
Our in-person workshops are scent free to support the well being of people who have adverse reactions to scents. A significant number of people have scent sensitivities, including our workshop leaders.
This is what scent free means. Please come scented au-naturel! Do not put on any synthetic products before coming to class. This includes synthetic fragrances commonly found in skin lotions, deodorant, makeup, shampoo, hand creams, hair sprays, leave-in hair products, etc. Instead, choose products that are scent-free, scented with essential oils, or have a label reading “no synthetic fragrances” on the product. Do not spray your clothes with air fresheners of any kind, and avoid the use of artificially scented laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Thank you so much for your conscientious co-operation on this! The workshop leaders will use scent free products and do their best to ensure scent free space recognizing that in some public venues this is challenging especially regarding the air fresheners in restrooms. If you are scent/chemical sensitive, please bring a filtering mask if you need it.
If you have any special learning needs which we should be aware of, please make note at the time of registration and provide guidance to us regarding the best ways to meet your special needs. Everyone with special needs is unique and asking for your guidance is the best way to work in partnership with you to provide the best learning experience.
Self-study programs are available as a combination of pre-recorded tutorials available on YouTube as well as in downloadable audio and video files. Accompanying written materials are typically provided in PDF format, suitable for enlargement or viewing with specialty software. If you need materials provided in an alternative format to meet your learning needs, please contact us prior to registration with your request.
